There are several options to get to your destination. Here are some alternatives, so you are not going to pay overprices.

Before your landing in Santiago, here you have a list of options that may help you.

Shuttle Buses:

The safest way to get to your destination. There are two companies that provide a perfect service. Delfos Transfer (transferdelfos.com) and Transvip (www.transvip.cl). You can book and pay online around 25 USD. They guarantees your arrival to destination safe and sound.

Buses:

Thos low cost option (around 2,7 USD) depart every 15 minutes to the citycenter. They leave you in the metro station “Los Heroes”. After that you need to take the subway buying the “Bip!” transport card for 3 USD and you must charge it (one pass cost 1,5 USD). This card allows you to use the Public transport system in Santiago and one payment allows you to combine 2 trips  in a course of 2 hours.

Uber/Cabify

This is NOT LEGAL in Chile and there are in some cases there are scams and frauds. It cost around 50 USD, so we reccommend to share it with someone.

Taxis:

H&F don’t reccomend this option. Be careful, there are many times that taxi drivers can scam you and don’t leave you at your destination.

If you are taking it, is recommended to negotiate the price (around 50 USD). There are many problems of overprices to foreigners. Also in Chile isn’t used to tip taxi drivers, so do not feel like an obligation or a bad gesture.
